Please use the correct words for things when talking to children. Don't teach vocabulary that will not be appropriate for children to use when they get older.

Also, there is no need to refer to yourself in third person when talking to children: "Give that to Mommy."/"Give that to me."
Young children will initially mispronounce many words as they first learn them, do not repeat these mispronunciations when speaking with the child. Just continue to say the words the correct way.
